The WHS Theater Program will be presenting its fall play, The Laramie Project, on Friday, November 18 at 7 pm and Saturday, November 19 at 2 pm and 7 pm.
The Laramie Project is a documentary style play that tells the story of the brutal assault and
subsequent death of Matthew Shepard in 1998.
Over the course of a year following this hate crime,
members of the Tectonic Theatre Project interviewed hundreds of Laramie residents attempting to discover how a community copes with the aftermath of such a tragedy. This play is their stories.
The Laramie Project contains descriptions of extreme violence, adult language, and other adult
themes. It is not recommended for students under 13 years old.
