  • We proudly announce that eleven pieces from Windham High School students were nominated for the 2025 Scholastic Art Awards. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognize student achievement in visual and literary arts in 28 categories, including drawing and illustration, photography, flash fiction, poetry, film and animation, journalism, and more. This is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Four students received Gold Key awards (Skylar B., Patrick C., Chloe D., Chelsea O.), and their pieces will be considered for National Awards. Three were Silver Key Award recipients (Chloe D., Lukas C., Kaelin G.), and four were awarded Honorable Mentions (Chloe D., Benjamin U., Camryn M., and Kaitlyn S.). Congratulations to all the students and their teachers, Mr. Cirelli, Mrs. Cole, and Mrs. Robbins, for their hard work.

  • Seniors John Atilano and Darby Madden were recognized with the National School Development Council Award for their high academic effort and for being positive role models.

  • The WHS chapters of DECA, FBLA, and Model UN will attend annual conferences this month and next.

  • The Windham Theater group’s fall production, Much Ado About Nothing, showcased the talents of our students both on stage and behind the scenes.

  • The WHS dance team competed at the “Excel In Motion” dance competition. They achieved the High Platinum Rating, which was the highest rank in their category.

  • Two senior directed one act shows were performed earlier this winter: The Candidate, directed by L. Peddle, and The Tell-Tale Heart, directed by C. Hildebrandt and G. Valiyodiyil. The shows highlighted the tremendous breadth of our students' talents as they directed, produced, stage-managed, and acted in these shows. The Tell-Tale Heart was selected to represent the WHS Theater company at the NH Theatre Regional Festival in March.

  • The Winter Concert series, which included performances by the Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Guitar Ensemble, was well attended and showcased the tremendous talents of our WHS Musicians. These talents were also recognized at NH All-State auditions, where several WHS students were invited to perform in various All-State ensembles:

    • Modern Band - Brooke B.

    • Honors Jazz Choir - Hana G., Yvonnia B.
