Student Council gives students the opportunity to take part in determining school activities and shaping the school climate and culture. Working together, students and advisors seek to create and promote events and activities for the entire student body. There are seven officers that represent each class, as well as, student representatives. Officers work together to complete assigned roles to help student council flourish. Responsibilities include participating and conducting weekly meetings, planning and hosting Windham High School events, acting as representatives for their class regarding school input and changes, in addition to other various responsibilities as needed and determined by their role within the student council.
